I usually have company, but the boys have come to know that it's quiet time and they can read quietly while I read and sip my tea. Sometimes I go for a walk or a run alone...let my mind bleed and process. Sometimes, honestly, I just go to bed a little early and read a bit or lay there awhile so I can rest my mind. I'm sure your work will be pressing on your time a bit more. Maybe you should, I dunno, run away to the beach this Spring for a weekend?
